HEY, I’M KYLE.

I’ve been drawing since I could first pick up a pencil (or crayon!). My earliest art memories are of drawing cartoons, cars, and dinosaurs, or, anything else my imagination would conjure up. In school, I drew on everything that would accept ink or paint—desks, stationary, school books, and occasional walls—and after school studied graphic design, thinking this was my path toward an artistic life.

Graphic design didn’t work out for me, and while art ebbed and flowed throughout my 20’s, performing and teaching music professionally took up the majority of my time. But I’ve always returned to my love for bold, inked linework, strange characters, graphic illustration, lettering, and more recently, color.

These days I’m still conjuring up strange images from my imagination, and too be honest, they’re not that much different :).
